The main activity of the horse-center “Le Sugherine” (4 km far, in Bagno di Gavorrano) is the riding school of the F.I.S.E. instructor Valerie Van Osterzee; they offer also riding excursions, boarding for young and old horses, tame, dressage and private or group lessons. In summer the horse-center organizes holydays for children and kids, showing them what horse riding is, and the respect and the care these wonderful animals need. |

The naturalistic area “Le Bandite di Scarlino” offers almost 200 km of paths, where you can enjoy many kinds of flora and fauna, from the shore of the sea to the inner woods in the “Colline Metallifere”. You can organize yourself your trekking with maps and information, or rely on naturalistic guides you can reserve directly at the reception. The trekking paths are near to the camping, and you can visit the whole naturalistic area either by foot or bicycle. |

The touristic harbour La Marina di Scarlino is only 5 km far from the Village. It’s one of the most equipped harbour of the Tyrrhenian Sea, and you have the opportunity to sail just joining the boat club. You can enroll in a two weeks long sailing course directly at the reception. |

Dipped into a 36° bath, in the spirit of wellness and imaginary. People from different ages have found warmth, relax and wellness in this thermal baths for long times until nowadays, leaving right on the shores of the Calidario evident signs of their passage. It is surrounded by a wonderful and unspoilt pine-wood, which contains marvelous natural scents. The Calidario is a little lake constantly feed by a thermal natural spring of hot water at 36° (equivalent to 97 °F). Thermal water flows directly to a large lake with a rate of flow of about 12.000 litres per minute. The access to the lake is internal and heated. The Calidario is in Venturina, 25 km far from the Village. The beneficent effects of its water and steam offer a dive into the past as well, back when the Etruscan people used that magic place for baths and massages, to find wellness and harmony. The wind will throw you in the third dimension: the flight. It’s not a dream. With goodwill and the help of professional instructors you will be able to soar on the waves in few weeks. |
